So, nothing interesting going on of late except for a huge quantity of exams and the same old business with the radio and petitions to put the Eu’s priorities straight. i therefore decided to be frivolous for one day and share with you two pictures of myself rocking my new Naf Naf shorts -which by the way has become one of my favourite shops ever- in the living room.

Also, I have been thinking of looking for a new platform to blog with. I am already running a blog on Students gone global, but that is mainly dedicated to my year abroad experience, and I feel the need to have at least another blog where I can pull a mix of all the things that I care about, that inspire me and surprise me every day. I used to love being on Tumblr, but unfortunately as a platform it is only good for reblogging contents (especially photos) and it is therefore not suitable for the direction my blog is going towards.

Que sera, sera.

Game of Thrones is definitely my latest TV crush, which is guilty of preventing me from doing any work at all for the past two days. Now, after watching all of the ten episodes of the first series, I am craving for more, and feel like those Gossip Girl/Pretty Little Liars/Vampire diaries - youknowwhatimean - silly fans who go round saying ‘OMG new episode coming out next Friday can’t w8! Oh hav u seen what happened in the last episode? i can’t believe it!’ and clog my news feed on Facebook - making me die inside a little -. Why should you watch it? I will let that pretentious git of my boyfriend persuade you with his latest post - yes, I convinced the boyfriend to open a blog, and already regret to having generated a 6’7” ginger tumblr addict - and if you do watch it and happen to love it, it means this blog is not that useless after all.

My day without shiny swords, dragons, nightwalkers and power plays wasn’t as exciting and unpredictable I must say, although having a smoke with my students during the lecture break made my day. As an act of rebellion  - against what or who, god knows; boredom perhaps - I cut my hair short and did blond highlights, and one would say I am quite pleased with it. I also got an interesting £160 water bill which is meant to cover the service until next March: too bad I am moving to France in september.

And with that boss of Dylan Moran, I wish you a good night.

I can open a fecking travel agency with all these brochures: it’s good to be a tourism marketer! I am currently searching for specialist tours of Dubai -conceived for particular niche markets- , and then compare the latter to a tour offered by any mass UK tour operator (Thomson TUI, Thomas Cook…). A bit too late to start looking into this one may say: my excuse is that tonight I have been too busy watching AC Milan crushing Arsenal, which called for a celebration filled with pop-corn, Lindt truffles and cuddles. And yes, I am still avoiding to research for my coursework by spending my time writing stuff on here: Captain procrastination writing.
